Abdulla Belhoul is the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Wholesale City, the largest global market for wholesale products. He is responsible for developing Dubai Wholesale City into the world’s leading wholesale trading hub that will contribute to reinforcing and enhancing the UAE’s role as a key market in global wholesale trade. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Dubai Creek Harbour, a joint venture between Emaar and Dubai Holding.
In his previous role as Managing Director and then CEO of Dubai Industrial Park, Belhoul attracted new business partners and increased occupancy, ensuring Dubai Industrial Park has become a major destination for local, regional and global manufacturing and logistics companies.
Belhoul has also served as Executive Director of Building Project Management at Tamdeen, the project management subsidiary of business park operator, TECOM Group. During this time, he led high-profile development projects, commercial development, industrial development, research and industry specialized projects.
Earlier, as Senior MEP Manager Asset Development at Dubai Properties, Belhoul managed the technical requirements for a number of major master planned projects, including Business Bay, Culture Village and the Dubai Land Residential Complex.
Prior to joining Dubai Properties, Belhoul held key managerial positions at Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation’s Engineering Services Department.
Belhoul has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Science, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE.
