13 February 2025
Dubai Industrial City, the region’s leading ecosystem for manufacturing and logistics excellence, will spotlight the next generation of food innovators thriving within its ecosystem at the landmark 30th edition of Gulfood on 17-21 February at Dubai World Trade Centre.
One of TECOM Group PJSC’s 10 business districts, Dubai Industrial City will also highlight its two-decade legacy of facilitating and advancing the F&B sector from Dubai, a global trade epicentre, at the world’s largest annual food and beverage sourcing event.
Dubai Industrial City is home to more than 1,100 local, regional, and international customers as well as 350 operational factories, including industry leaders such as Patchi and Al Barakah Dates. Its comprehensive ecosystem offers sector-specific facilities, such as lands and storage and logistics facilities, and a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and growth across a masterplan featuring sector-specific zones for base metals; machinery; minerals; food and beverage; transport; and chemicals.
“The global future of food is being shaped today, and with its pro-innovation approach to industrial advancement, Dubai is playing a key role in this evolution,” said Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group PJSC, on behalf of Dubai Industrial City.
“For more than 20 years, Dubai Industrial City has been instrumental in shaping the landscape of the vital F&B sector, and our participation at Gulfood’s landmark edition this year reflects our focus on empowering businesses to innovate, grow, and contribute to the UAE's economic prosperity. Aligned with the long-term goals of Operation 300bn, National Food Security Strategy 2051, Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’ and Dubai Food Security Strategy, we are nurturing the next generation of food innovators and solidifying the UAE’s and Dubai’s position as a leader on the global F&B landscape.”
At Gulfood 2025, Dubai Industrial City will showcase the success stories of its customers demonstrating how its robust logistics network and strategic location close to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, key road networks, and an Etihad Rail freight terminal create an ideal platform for F&B companies to thrive in the region and beyond.
Visitors to Dubai Industrial City’s presence at Gulfood will also meet key industry players, explore potential partnerships, and gain insights into the latest trends shaping the future of food, such as sustainability and waste reduction. Customers at the district produce more than 70 megawatts in clean energy each year, with Dubai Industrial City’s community also set to benefit from its memorandum of understanding with global technology company Siemens, signed on the sidelines of its 20th anniversary celebrations in November 2024, to nurture industrial excellence for long-term sustainable development.
Dubai Industrial City is part of TECOM Group’s portfolio of business districts that include Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Production City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Design District (d3), and Dubai Science Park.
