Dubai Studio City, the region’s leading content creation hub and one of TECOM Group PJSC’s 10 business districts, is building on its legacy of enabling homegrown creative talent and has facilitated the creation of more than 12,000 hours of original content in the past two years, the district announced during CABSAT.
Part of TECOM Group’s Media Cluster alongside Dubai Media City and Dubai Production City, the ecosystem is demonstrating its commitment to accelerating a new wave of content creation as Strategic Partner of CABSAT, taking place in Dubai on 13-15 May.
Dubai Studio City’s sector-specific infrastructure, including its world-class Sound Stages – the region’s largest facilities of their kind – empowers digital content creation, virtual production, gaming, and e-sports specialists and addresses the evolving needs of the media industry. The district’s Sound Stages, alongside the in5 Media start-up incubator, have facilitated more than 12,000 hours of original content creation in 2023 and 2024 – equivalent to 500+ hours of film, TV, and advertising content created a month at the heart of Dubai.

Dubai Studio City’s offering includes filming and production studios as well as Grade-A office spaces and boutique studios to support both established production houses and emerging digital content creators. Its vibrant ecosystem is home to key industry players such as film, TV and broadcast production specialists including Epic Films, High-End Films, and StarzPlay, as well as post-production and equipment rental specialists such as Big Kahuna and Gamma Engineering.
The district’s community is geared to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing and offers synergies with in5 Media, TECOM Group’s start-up incubator for media start-ups based at Dubai Production City. in5 Media’s ecosystem includes dedicated editing suites, green rooms, screening rooms, and a recently introduced podcast studio that offers a professional recording environment and is equipped with world-class audio and video equipment to elevate the region’s burgeoning podcast segment.
Home to globally renowned industry leaders such as Discovery Networks and Al Mashhad TV, Dubai Studio City provides a comprehensive ecosystem for film, television, and digital content production. Alongside Dubai Media City and Dubai Production City, the district comprises TECOM Group’s Media Cluster, which nurtures the holistic regional media production value chain as a uniting platform for more than 4,000 customers as well as 40,000 creative professionals.
As part of its rich programme at CABSAT 2025, Dubai Studio City is offering Sound Stage tours and hosting a networking event with Business France on the sidelines of the event, while in5 Media is showcasing 10 innovative start-ups from its ecosystem, including Zyler AI, Stories Arabia, and SpeakUp.
