European professionals represent more than 22% of Dubai Internet City’s diverse community of talent, the Middle East’s leading technology hub announced at the inaugural edition of GITEX Europe, taking place in Berlin on 21-23 May.
Dubai Internet City, one of TECOM Group PJSC’s 10 business districts, is showcasing its dynamic ecosystem and commitment to fostering synergies between the UAE’s and Europe’s tech sectors at GITEX Europe.
The district’s success in attracting top-tier talent from global markets and cementing Dubai’s position as a global innovation hub is demonstrated by the strength of its multinational community. Dubai Internet City is today home to 4,000 businesses, including multinational companies and Fortune 500s such as PayPal, Nvidia, and Google as well as more than 31,000 tech professionals and 20 Innovation and Research & Development Centres. European tech giants such as SAP, the world’s largest vendor of enterprise application software, and multinational online food ordering and delivery company Delivery Hero are among the companies based at Dubai Internet City, which nurtures an environment conducive for tech firms and talent to unlock global growth from Dubai.

Since its establishment more than 25 years ago, Dubai Internet City has played an instrumental role in driving the Middle East’s digital transformation and strengthening its digital economy to deliver global impact. The district, which contributes 65% of Dubai’s technology sector GDP, is demonstrating its dedication to building strong connections between the UAE’s and Europe’s tech sectors at GITEX Europe.
