d3 Winter Season carries on into the new year with creative events and live entertainment

16 January 2023
Press Release

Visitors can enjoy a host of live performances, art workshops, and health and wellness events until 29 January

Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC and a global hub for art, design, and creativity, is keeping Dubai’s winter season alive with a buzzing calendar of activities and events running until 29 January.

The d3 Winter Season aligns with the third edition of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's "World's Coolest Winter" campaign. It offers a running schedule of creative workshops, health and wellness sessions alongside live music by homegrown artists and captivating entertainment along the district's central thoroughfares.

At the heart of all the activity is an interactive, and colourful music and light installation. Presented as part of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE)’s partnership with Dubai Lights for the Dubai Shopping Festival, the mesmerising structure arrives for the first time in the Middle East.

See below for all the ongoing activities:

MEET FOR ART EXHIBITION

Atelier Lantana for Arts and Culture has joined forces with Masalla Art to present the ‘Meet for Art’ exhibition, curated with input from artistic elites from across the GCC. Located in the atrium of Building 7, it will showcase more than 70 works of art by over 30 Arab artists from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Egypt, Iraq and beyond. From portraits of youth and age to breathtaking stills of wild camels, birds and spiritual dancers, the exhibition puts Arab identity and heritage centre stage. Weave a narrative that takes you across place, time, tradition and medium.
