On September 27, health and wellness experts will discuss how mental health has a direct impact on physical health at the second edition of The Wellness Hub
As part of its commitment to promoting wellbeing in the workplace, Dubai Media City, a member of TECOM Group PJSC, continues the Wellness Hub series with its latest session on 27 September. Community members, wellness enthusiasts, HR representatives and more are invited to attend an insightful session covering the intersection of nutrition, the gut microbiome and mental health.
The second edition features moderator Irina Sharma, host of the Wellevate Life podcast, Dr. Nas Al-Jafari, Functional Medicine Specialist and Medical Director at DNA Health Centre, and Dr. Melanie Schlatter, Health Psychologist at the American Hospital Dubai take the stage at in5 Tech. The experts will discuss how anxiety, stress and mental health factors can manifest in physical symptoms and share ways to counter negative impact.
Global conversations around burnout, work-life disbalance and – most recently – quiet quitting are transforming the way people work. According to the 2022 Deloitte Gen Z and Millennial Survey, Gen Z and millennial professionals continue to experience elevated levels of stress and anxiety – a trend particularly common among younger respondents. The Wellness Hub sessions by Dubai Media City seek to raise awareness for the importance of protecting and promoting positive mental health with expert insights and advice.
