Dubai Industrial City recognises community leaders at special celebration
Dubai Industrial City, the region’s leading manufacturing and logistics hub, held a celebratory event titled ‘Where Brilliance Takes Shape’, to recognise its community’s achievements for more than 20 years. The event was attended by dignitaries and senior officials.
Khalifa Al Hajeri, CEO of Emirates Growth Fund, delivered the keynote speech at the event, which underscored Dubai Industrial City’s commitment to providing an integrated industrial environment that enables manufacturing firms to grow and realise their ambitions.
“Dubai Industrial City has been a vital pillar of the UAE’s and Dubai’s manufacturing growth for more than 20 years, and Where Brilliance Takes Shape is a platform to recognise our community’s outstanding achievements during this journey,” said Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group, on behalf of Dubai Industrial City. “We’re reaffirming our commitment to nurturing an environment where Dubai Industrial City’s valued customers can flourish and achieve even greater accomplishments for years to come, ensuring our community’s continued contribution towards Operation 300bn, Make it in the Emirates, and Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’.”
Recognising brilliance
During the event, Dubai Industrial City unveiled its special docufilm honouring innovators within its community. Produced with customers from the district’s diversified community of customers, including Bond Interiors, Fabtech Engineering, Green Cement Factory, Neelkanth Cables Manufacturing, and Wonder Bakery, the special film spotlights the power of Dubai Industrial City’s diverse community and its impactful contributions to the global manufacturing and economic landscape.
Dubai Industrial City also hosted a panel discussion with the manufacturing sector’s brightest minds to pave the way for knowledge-sharing during the event. Where Brilliance Takes Shape served as a uniting platform for leaders from Al Barakah Foods Holdings, Assent Steel Industries, Future Pipe Industries, and Standard Carpets to address themes such as nurturing non-oil growth in the UAE and Dubai, and the role of Dubai Industrial City’s ecosystem in empowering manufacturers.
The evening ended with Dubai Industrial City recognising its community’s contributions across key levers nurturing growth in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Al Sharqi Shipping was recognised for Brilliance in Logistics, while Dulsco secured the Brilliance in Sustainability Leadership honour. Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing won the Brilliance in New Avenues award during the ceremony, while Nuitree Food Industries and Al Fares International Tents and Construction Metal, respectively, received Brilliance in Innovation and Brilliance in Humanitarian Support honours.
