Day four of Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) saw two DFW members back on the calendar alongside exciting debuts from a Dubai-based designer and a Vietnam-based brand. On the last day of the Buyer’s Programme international buyers continued to engage with emerging talent and explore the latest in couture, tailoring, and contemporary fashion.
DFW, the region’s definitive fashion fixture, continues until 6 February, bringing together leading international and regional designers, industry leaders, and global media. The event is co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, reinforcing Dubai’s position at the forefront of the global fashion calendar.
Lili Blanc
DFW member Lili Blanc unveiled its AW26 collection ‘Chapter 11’, presenting a refined vision of quiet confidence and modern femininity. Marking a moment of arrival rather than transformation, the showcase balanced architectural tailoring with fluid movement, celebrating authority that is calm and luxury that is felt, not announced. With considered fabrics, grounded tones and signature structure, ‘Chapter 11’ reaffirmed Lili Blanc’s commitment to emotional design, craftsmanship, and effortless power.
Dina Melwani
Dubai-based designer Dina Melwani made a stunning debut with her AW26 couture collection ‘Sapphire’. The collection drew inspiration from the duality of pink and blue sapphires, combining sculptural silhouettes with hand-applied crystal embroidery that exuded power, clarity, and refinement. Defined by precision tailoring and quiet authority, ‘Sapphire’ firmly establishes Melwani as a leading voice in contemporary couture.
SORAMAME
Vietnamese luxury brand SORAMAME made its DFW debut with its AW26 collection ‘Between One Thought and the Next’. The showcase explored vulnerability as strength, with fluid silhouettes, gentle draping and tactile fabrics that prioritise comfort and emotional resonance. Inspired by nature and the quiet process of healing, the collection highlighted understated elegance and thoughtful craftsmanship, marking a significant step in SORAMAME’s international journey.
Lama Jouni
DFW member Lama Jouni celebrated a remarkable 10-year milestone at DFW, showcasing a decade of signature silhouettes and sharp tailoring. The AW26 collection highlighted the brand’s evolution with the introduction of an eveningwear capsule, expanding its creative universe. Featuring a mix of organic cotton, sheer mesh, sequins, silk, and striking mixed materials, the presentation balanced craftsmanship, innovation and refined elegance, reaffirming Lama Jouni’s place in contemporary luxury fashion.
DFW’s success is possible due to strategic partnerships with leading global brands, including SOUEAST as automotive partner, Dyson as the official hair technology partner, Kiko Milano as the official make-up partner and Delano Dubai as the official hospitality partner. Meta is its main media partner. Electra and Magnum provide essential support as production and audio-visual partners, respectively. Additional support comes from Lucia Clinic for skincare services, Fiji Water as the hydration partner, The Lighthouse as food/lounge partner, and Etcetera for additional management services.
