This new space will include 11 buildings in Dubai Design District (d3), which has already signed over 220 business partners so far, and 3 buildings in International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), where the new City Centre Me’aisem Mall has recently opened.

The company has also provided a progress update on its latest innovation-led projects the “Creative Community” in d3 and the “Innovation Hub” in Dubai Internet City which are due to be completed in 2018 and 2019 respectively, and will offer holistic communities to businesses of all sizes where they can live, work and play.

New Developments to Answer Business Needs
1. Innovation Hub
The Innovation Hub will stimulate innovation and excellence across technology, new media, smart education and sciences, providing a home to over 15,000 knowledge workers, and offer companies of all sizes including start-ups, SMEs and multinationals a dynamic and holistic community and working environment.
The thriving 1.8 million sq. ft. Innovation Hub, located in the heart of Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Knowledge Village, is planned to be completed by Q1 2017. The hub will include state-of-the-art working spaces, boutique offices, dynamic retail spaces and hotels. The project, which is expected to be completed by 2019, will significantly strengthen Dubai’s existing position as a strategic business destination, and drive the Emirate’s transition into a global innovation-led economy.
2. The Creative Community
d3’s Creative Community, which will provide an incubator for emerging local designers and artists, as well as a natural home for art galleries and studios looking to engage directly with the region, will open its doors in 2018. The design, produced by leading global architecture firm Foster + Partners, includes flexible offices; co-working communal facilities; outdoor display venues; pedestrianized spaces; climate solutions and an emphasis on creating vibrant and attractive landscaping.
New Brand & Renewed Commitment
TECOM Investments’ new identity, TECOM Group, represents the company’s first rebrand since it was established in 2005, and better reflects its deep commitment towards helping Dubai to realise its economic aspirations, starting from its transition into a knowledge-economy, and now supporting its development into an innovation-led economy.
The group’s new brand will be revealed on 8th September, which coincides with Cityscape Global, and will be followed by the rebranding of a number of its business communities, to reflect their progress.
